Amazing, collectible, exceptional, vintage, antiques, memorabilia, musical instruments, antique violin, a piece of history, good condition

Condition: Good
Weight: 3 kg
Type of Instrument/ Item: Fiddle

For sale a very exceptional piece that would attract collectors all over the world!

This violin was found during a purchase in Romania in 1980, in Timisoara, at a famous local antiques market.

This violin has an internal label that reads 'Braun Antal Temesvar 1911', with an engraving 'Steiner' on back.

This violin naturally has signs of age and its 107 years, it shows several imperfections on wood due to time.

Since I am not a specialist, I spoke to a famous luthier from Naples (Italy, Mr. G. Pucino who confirmed the value of this piece and evaluated it (in this condition) around €10,000.

The violin should be polished and restored in some places and the same luthier told me that the cost of restoration would be at most €200.

The violin, in all its beauty and antiquity, includes original bow, case and carrying bag!

Technical details of the violin:

- Back of the violin is made of maple wood
- Sides of the violin are made of maple wood
- Soundboard is made of spruce wood
- Pegs are made of ebony wood

Strings are new and they were replaced.

I can just imagine how interesting and appealing this valuable memorabilia will be! With a small restoration cost you could have a very hard to find piece, none of this can be found elsewhere!

Shipping costs are obviously estimated. If upon shipping the costs should be lower than what paid by the buyer, the difference will be refunded.
