This is a very beautiful old antique complete Master violin, labeled:
From 1715. By: Carlo Tononi. Almost 3 centuries old!
Made in Italy, Bologna.
The total length is 595 mm.
The length of the body is 361 mm.
Inside label: Fornito di me Carlo Tononi in Bologna in S. Mamolo alo’ Infegna di S. Cecilia Anno 1715.
The wood is quite beautiful and the varnish, which is partially original, is as well.
Back: 2 pieces of flamed maple wood (the sides as well).
Soundboard: 1 piece of high-grained spruce, golden brown varnish.
