Late 19th century - Sicily, Italy - in good condition
Rectangular embroidery loom, comes with a stand, leaning
on a base, which supports it and therefore leaves both hands free.
The loom is broken down into four rods which can be placed in any drawer, if you want to keep them.
On two of these wooden poles called rulers attaches a sturdy webbing on which you sew the two sides of the fabric to stitch, then you slide the other two wooden poles straining the fabric and you can proceed to embroider.
The loom is in good condition, it shows signs of old woodworms with holes clogged.
A nice collector's item, it can also be exhibited on the wall, or used it to exhibit a tapestry.
Its measures when mounted are:
Max width: 90 cm
Max height: 60 cm
