A German u-boat clock / Kriegs Marine u-boat clock made by Kieninger & Obergfell. WWII, in a very nice and good condition!

German, these clocks made by Kieninger & Obergfell were used very much in U-Boot (see the last picture), as well as on the larger German warships (cruisers and battleships) But they are rarely offered, as most are on the bottom of the sea. The clock is in very good condition, the brass is free of dents or damage. The glass is perfect, the dial is not oxidised and still has its original silver-coloured luster and reflectivity. The case is not cleaned to maintain the patina. The clock originates from a boat under the command Northsee, at the left is the Kriegs Marine Hoheitszeichen and at the right the naval number (14785) and the N of Northsee. The clock has a diameter of approx. 20 cm and a diameter of 17 cm without the key construction. The height is 9 cm. A very nice timepiece in good condition.
