If you are a carpet lover, who appreciates the joy and elegance that an antique handmade tribal rug can bring, then perhaps you must have seen or heard about the carpets belonging to Beshir. These less common rugs from central Asia have wool wraps and medium cut piles. Even though made by Turkmen nomads, ironically are not belonging to a certain tribe like Tekke or Ersari, as one might think! Their distinctive look in the form of unusual geometric designs in repetitive and many narrow bands in alternating colours form borders makes them different to those of Gul or octagonal by their counterparts. This diamond design long Beshir carpet is part of this group. Measuring 370 x 185cm (12'x6') Circa 1900 it has even more unusual style to the other Beshir carpets with the splendid all over panels of diamond shaped motifs decorated with various geometric objects and bands of borders in rich red and brown background. It has a good consistent pile and overall in good condition.

I have received my rug and it’s beautiful. It was a great pleasure to do business with Saeed. He followed through and made sure I received my order. Thank you Saeed!
I paid for the carpet on June 18th, and it's on my floor in Malaysia just 10 days later... it is a superb piece and I am delighted with my purchase... thank you Saeed!
