Two charcoal works by the artist Maurizio Bonfanti from Bergamo. Preliminary works for the big canvasses in the “Chiesa Vecchia” of the Redona municipality in Bergamo.
Bonfanti claimed the authorship of these works in an email exchange to check the authenticity.
On “La Rivista di Bergamo” an article by Sandro Scarrocchia describes the preliminary and conceptual process of the cycle (cf. photos). The issue of the magazine will be sent to the buyer for free.
The frame was custom-made in solid oak with glass.

Huddled man: 55 x 63.5 cm.
Total: 197 x 75 cm.
