This is not an original Renault 12 Gordini, but a very well built copy based on a 1978 Dacia 1300. An iconic classic inspired by the rally version with the original colors and features of this model. No detail over looked in building this nuts and bolts restoration. It starts and drives flawlessly, as it should. All new parts used are original Renault parts. This wonderful replica has the original and overhauled Dacia 1300 cmc and the original four speed transmission, a Weber 40 carb and an improved braking system. Wheels are restored, new tires installed. Very clean motor and trunk compartments. Everything new underneath (new shock absorbers, bushings, pivots, bar ends) and an improved drive train. Absolutely no rust, the car was stripped and treated, a process documented with step by step photos. It has a valid Romanian MOT and is registered as a historical vehicle. The car could be seen and inspected in Bern, Switzerland. The seller could bring the car anywhere in Europe at no expense for the buyer.
