The antique Persian tribal salt bag is woven in south east region of Iran roughly in 1900-1950 . The bag was woven in Bahlooli tribe who has been living in south east part of Iran near the city of Birjand. It was common to use such fine woven bags for storing dry food materials. The bag has no defeats and is in very good condition. It is tightly woven. The front side is made of sheep wool and the back side is made of camel wool. The bag can be used for decoration, or it can be used as an elegant hand bag. The size of the bag is 60 cm x 40 cm, and it is exported from Iran in 2018.
