A unique and beautiful piece by the Dutch painter Ed van Heck. It is an oil painting on linen of a cow with calf on a Swiss mountain peak from circa 1980. The painting was created following the example of an existing painting by the Swiss artist Rudolf Köller (1828-1905). His works hang in museums including the Kunsthaus Zürich. Painter Ed van Heck is self taught and was born on 2 July 1954 in Beneden-Leeuwen. He was a professional painter. He is also a sculptor and frame maker.
