A unique and beautiful piece by the Dutch painter Ed van Heck. It is an oil painting on linen of a cow with calf on a Swiss mountain peak from circa 1980. The painting was created following the example of an existing painting by the Swiss artist Rudolf Köller (1828-1905). His works hang in museums including the Kunsthaus Zürich. The condition of the painting The painting is in excellent condition. This means that the painting is not damaged, has not been restored and has no craquelure. The stretcher is a little out of alignment (0.5 cm) and the canvas is stretched well. The painting was recently cleaned to get rid of superficial dirt. Painter Ed van Heck is self taught and was born on 2 July 1954 in Beneden-Leeuwen. He was a professional painter. He is also a sculptor and frame maker. In 1992, he was a member of the Enschedees Kunstenaars Collectief. An association of the most talented painters in The Netherlands. His nickname is 'De Rembrandt van Maas en Waal', because of his romantic paintings according to the Dutch school. Shipping method The painting will be carefully packed and shipped by registered mail.
