You don't find these often, these Russian student microscopes Mbu-4 No. 8100510 type 8284-78, manufactured USSR (CCCP). Striking is the absence of an lens turret. Achromatic lenses 8X and 20X have to be changed manually. With eyepieces 7X, 10X and 15X, magnifications of 56X - 300X can be achieved. Stable tripod, straight tube (160 mm) up to 90° and is equipped with excellent double coarse and fine focus knobs Round table, preparation clamps and a feature for placing three separate apertures. If you wish, a universal cross mechanism can be placed on it. Lighting consists of a hollow and flat mirror and a universal led light (batteries included) For transport, it has an ingenious steel box with key and storage room in the foot, which also enables field use.
