Nicely decorated carafe made by Marzi & Remy in Höhr. Elaborately marked with the Marzi & Remy logo (relief), 1 1/2 L (1 litre) and no. 5619.
A beautiful embossed decor all around on a blue background.
From the period that Dutch wasn’t yet accepted as the second language in Belgium and the country still consisted of nine regions. The carafe is in fine condition.
It is decorated with the coats of arms of the nine regions:
Flandre occidental - Luxembourg - Flandre oriental - Namur - Liege - Limbourg - Anvers - Brabant - Hainaut.
Further decorated with floral Jugendstil decor elements.
It has a height of 25 cm.
It has a diameter of approx. 14 cm.
Marked with the stamp ‘MR’ (Marzi & Remy).
