NOTE; Premières pensées en Italien "macchia".
These are light sketches in which painters give free way to their imagination using just a few strokes of pencil or pen to mark their intentions and the order and the character that they want to give to their drawing.
These sketches, made by various masters become precious in the eyes of an expert, because they usually contain a spirit of directness, freedom, fire and boldness and strong spiritual traits, actually a kind of spirit that you cannot find in more delicate drawings.
