The oil painting stems from a family inheritance.
It is the angel of death with a skull and crossbones as a sign of the finiteness of life at the historical event of "Türken vor Wien" which appears already with broken eyes.
To restore the colours, it is advisable to restore the painting, what was started in the lower right portion of the image. (picture 11 / 12)

The painting has been acquired in the 70s at the prestigious auction house Exner in Hanover. There is unfortunately no evidence, but I can assure you that this is true and authentic.
