3.5 kg. Binding in ivory paperboard in Bradel style, triple black frame on the covers. smooth spine with golden fabric title label. Friction, wear and tear (not too serious) on corners (dents), borders, spine and covers; cover slightly loose, inside; satisfactory condition.
The author was the Director of the Museum of Antiquities in Rouen. Of the many tombs that once adorned the Rouen Cathedral, only seven have survived: those of our first Duke Rollon, of Longue-Epée, his son, of Richard Lion heart, of Maurice, Archbishop of Rouen under St. Louis, Pierre de Brézé, grand Seneschal of Normandy, of George d’Amboise and Louis de Brézé, husband of Diane de Poitiers. The others have disappeared in the disasters of the wars of Religion. Good copy on nice paper of this third edition, the most complete, reviewed and published with notes and many additions by F. Bouquet
