Quartz - 316L Staal PVD coated
|Model:||PVD Chronograph Limited-Edition -"NO RESERVE PRICE"|
|Condition:||Worn & in very good condition|
Very fine and used U-boat Classico by Italo Fontana made of 48 mm stainless steel (316L) PVD version, limited edition (no.: 0714/1000). The case is 48 mm without the signed crown on the left (Left Hook...). Made of PVD-coated steel with a black PVD case back and sapphire glass. Dial is entirely black as well with clear cream markers and hands. There are also subtle green accents (start/stop and subdial). It has three subdials (60 minutes, small seconds and 12 hours).
The strap is a cool black leather strap with original folding clasp. It measures 20 mm and is adjustable to at least 22 cm. There is also another strap with buckle. This is in slightly more worn condition.
These watches are becoming ever more popular and are collected as well. Early and limited editions such as this one are increasingly hard to find.
This one certainly has some signs of wear (optically 8/10 - steel visible through the coating, slightly worn strap, etc.),
but overall it mainly is a cool clock!
The quartz timepiece works fine, but the service history is unknown.
Please have a good look at the many photos and use them for your own assessment of the condition of this unique watch.
It comes in its original U-boat watch box with instruction manual, extra strap and cardboard from 2007. Offered without reserve!
In short.... cool and sturdy U-boat Left Hook Chrono! A clock for true men...
