Beautiful antique pin/brooch made of gold, silver and opal.
Made around 1850 in Germany, suited for both men and women.
The opal (doublet) measures approx. 7 x 5.5 mm. This opal has a beautiful play of colours and is cabochon cut. The colours change against different backgrounds and lighting conditions, as can be seen on the photos.
The cornucopia (horn of plenty) is made of 14 kt gold (front) and 835/1000 silver (back + pin).
The total measurements are approximately 64.5 x 12 mm.
Total weight approx. 0.95 grams.
The pin is marked (see detailed photos) and the precious metals were tested.
In good condition with signs of wear befitting its age. The gold front has a very small tear (in the top right). This can be seen on the close-up photos. The opal was added to the cornucopia at a later date. See the photos, which are part of this description. A unique pin-brooch!
Will be shipped registered in the shown antique gift box.

Bonjour! En raison d'un emballage incorrect, le vase est livré cassé. La photo est disponible. Please note: some elements on this page have been translated automatically.Hello. I am sorry to hear that the vase is damaged in transit. It was carefully packed.
The vase was fully insured for transit!
But unfortunately you have waited too long. For insurance there must be a claim within 3 days after delivery.
At this time, there is nothing I can do anymore.
Still, I would very much appreciate if you can send me a picture of the vase + packaging. Hope to hear from you soon.
With kind regards, Rob van Vlijmen
