Beautiful large French Column clock from the 19th century. The column clock is placed under a beautifully shaped rectangular glass dome on a matching console. The lot, both the clock and the dome are in great condition. The column clock is richly decorated with brass & bronze ornaments. The movement has a beautiful pendulum with R & A control mechanism, furthermore, a white enamelled dial with Roman and Germanic figures signed Devienne. The well-running pendulum movement is stamped Medaille D. Argent Vincenti et Cie 1855 and further with the number 1309. The winding key will be included. The total height is 64 cm, the column clock is 52 x 26.5 x 15 cm. There is an appraisal report on the clock number 636624183654 by AntiekCheck.
