Mechanical - 8-day movement - Half-hourly strike on bell

Console clock, very nice and in authentic condition.
Manufacturer "Schmid Schlenker / SSS" from West Germany, mid 20th century.
These quality clocks were manufactured at the time in Germany under the brand Schmid and are derived from the famous Neuchateloise clocks from Switzerland.

A typical model clock with a very decorative design.
Gold plated dial with white enamel figures.
In a dark green lacquered wooden case with hand-painted floral motifs and polychrome gold coloured accents.
The case has a door at the rear and a hinged glass holder at the front with matching glass sphere.
This clock comes with a winding key.

The movement works excellently. Runs and strikes perfectly.
Single wind-up hole/mechanism for both running and striking.

Dimensions clock including console approx:
Height 45 cm
Width: 20 cm.
Depth: 10 cm

In short, a beautiful, original quality clock.
Photos are a part of the description.
