|Bottle size:||Bottle (0.75L)|

|Region:||Brunello di Montalcino|
The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino is beautiful. The preference of the farm to choose from the beginning is one of the factors that help balance part of the meatiness of the harvest. This is a particularly silky and flexible Brunello from Biondi-Santi. The open personality of the year is manifested, but not at the expense of the style of the house. The floral notes reappear to frame the elegant and expressive finish. Early expiration: 2017-2037. || Biond-Santi is still a beacon for Rosso and Brunello traditionally made. At 90, Franco Biondi-Santi insisted on leading my wine tasting in barrels and bottles. The years go by for all of us, but I have not seen any decrease in the enthusiasm and passion of Biondi-Santi. Biondi-Santi wines are more accessible young than they used to be, but it seems that nothing else has changed. Biondi-Santi harvests on the early side. The wines see long macerations in the skins, in steel for the straight Brunello (also known as the Annata) and oak for the Riserva, and then they are aged in large oak barrels. Exceptional harvest at Il Greppo. Winter and spring were cold and rainy. July and August dry and warm with rains at regular intervals. September I am dry and with a considerable temperature range. The harvest started on September 10 and the weather was cold and dry. The grapes were healthy and ripe with thick skins rich in color. The must was rich in sugar, extracts and acidity with a low average pH. Vinification in red under controlled temperature, the wine was extracted after 15 days. Uncork, remove a small amount of wine from the bottle and let it aerate for at least 8 hours before serving.
