This card is from the Staeck Edition, Klaus Staeck was a friend and publisher of Beuys.
Joseph Heinrich Beuys, born on 12 May, 1921, in Krefeld, Germany, and died on 23 January 1986, in Düsseldorf, was a famous German performance artist, sculptor, artist, art theorist and professor at the Düsseldorf Art Academy.
He was also a friend of Andy Warhol.
