HISTORY: The X1/9 debuted on track in Group 4 with Filipinetti Team, that presented it at 1973 Geneva Motor Show. In accordance with the parent company, racing car manufacturer Gian Paolo Dallara created some elaborated vehicles following Group 5/Silhouette regulations. Aesthetically, the project realised in collaboration with Bertone was characterised by enlarged wheel arches to fit larger sized wheels, a rear spoiler and the front without pop-up headlights.
