Very fine large terracotta sculpture depicting a sower (La Semeuse). Impressive antique beauty made for Goldscheider in Austria. Stamp of Goldscheider is at the rear of the pedestal. It is not clearly signed, but supposedly manufactured after the model of the artist Hans Schork (1849-?). Dating back to around 1900. It has a beautiful detailing, colour and patina. Condition: in a good overall condition. The right wrist has had a restoration carried out, but this is nicely done and not very distracting. The height of this very decorative and fine art work is 84 cm. For sale elsewhere for 3200 euros. Can only be picked up due to the size and vulnerability and moreover, it is a heavy sculptore.
