Bronze eagle 51 cm 11kg! Desk set set on marble base very rare and large

Desk set dating from around 1880 in black marble with 2 marble containers foldable, for the inkwell white ceramic. Centre, a massive bronze eagle with spread wings on also bronze-cast rocks. Eagle and rock are removable and can be set up separately as a sculpture. Desk set from grand estate (estate) in Poland. Desk set is complete and in excellent undamaged condition. The photos are a part of the description. The last image (found at Alamy) the only other known piece of this bronze eagle of this magnificent antique and rare desk set. Size: 51 cm x 26 cm x 25 cm. Eagle measurements: 30 cm wingspan, 22 cm in height and 16 cm in length. Dimensions of the inkwell 10 x 10 x 6 cm. Cover of the inkwell with nickel handle / bracket to open (interesting mechanics). The beak of the eagle was originally done separately from ivory, it’s unfortunately not available. Can be replaced by replica easily. Overall a fine piece for a desk from the Gründerzeit and Art Nouveau.
