The rifle has a so-called "under lever closure" with beautiful cocks and is of the brand "Sheppard". In addition, the rifle has very nice ‘hoefnageldamast’ barrels benchmark stamped brands of Birmingham with only black powder stamped brands and the inside of the barrels is beautiful. Walnut rifle butt, straight English model, The rifle has a fine "arabesque scroll engraving" and a front wood with traverse disk mount (like a front loader). The weapon is from around 1880 and has the normal minor signs of age/wear. Weapon comes with a Dutch proof of exemption / exemption chart and can be freely owned in the Netherlands, as well as shipping and transferring it.
