Condor - A580-1 - 580 cc - 1953

The Condor A580 was a motorbike by the Swiss manufacturer Condor-Werke AG in Courfaivre and was developed and built for the Swiss army. It is 100% Swiss manufactured. This bike is in a really good condition; visually and mechanically. Spare parts aren’t a problem because the entire army stock is now in civilian hands and I am happy to pass on these addresses. Only 2,792 of these bikes were built! The tachometer only has five digits, it currently shows 02580 km. The tachometer was probably changed times or reset when overhauled. Transmission with off-road gear reduction. With rifle holder... of course, the Stgw57 assault rifle and rifle in the photo don’t come with it ;-) Number of valves: 2 valves per cylinder. The standing valves of the central camshaft are controlled with a. hydraulic self-adjusting valve tappet 70.0 mm bore. 75.2 mm stroke. 577 cm³ displacement. Compression ratio: 6.0:1 Fuel: Petrol HP/kW: 19.8 HP / 15 kW at 4400 RPM Torque: 32 Nm at 2870 rpm. 6 volt electric system 1 x 6 Volt 10 Ah battery. Negative pole to ground rear right 2-seater. Number of vehicles: 2792 In military use from 1952 to 1982. Built between 1951 - 1957.
