Good impression with full plate border and wide margins in a watermarked laid paper sheet. Watermark: Shield with R inside
None religious work is rather rare in the oeuvre of Raphael Sadeler. However most family members produced a range of landscape engravings between the realistic and the more made up landscape. At the turn of the 16th century they promoted the international recognized work of the Flemish landscape painters.
