Bronze sculpture by the French sculptor E. Guy in Art Deco style. It represents a seagull flying past the sail of a boat. This sculpture was given in memory of the observation squadron 545 "En souvenir de votre séjour parmi nous G.A.O.545" See Squadron 71 SAL 71 I -Create MF 71 in December 1915 F 71 AR 71 at the end of 1917 SAL 71 el 29-4-1918 (observation of 5th C.A.) Dissolved on 18-2-1919. II - 545 Squadron (1st regiment of Algeria in 01/01/1920) 1st squadron of 36e R.A.O. First squadron of 1. ° Group of African Aviation This is therefore a piece with an heroic history behind. Both the seagull and the sail have kept a nice patina. They are mounted on an oval, black marble base, an excellent piece representative of the Art Deco Style. Dimensions Length: 49 cm Height: 31 cm Depth: 15 cm In order to preserve the integrity of the piece it will be sent dismantled and properly protected via the transport agency chosen by the winner of the auction, among those proposed by Catawiki.
