Lovely Venetian Bronze Cherub, lost wax casting, from the furnishing of an ancient Hotel in Venice. The Cherub was part of a group adorning the wall of an internal hallway, 1900 ca.
Remarkable quality and workmanship, prestigious metal patina.
Also remarkable is the attention to detail and the Cherub’s anatomy.
One of a kind lot, small sized and well proportioned.
