Tea set consisting of 15 pieces of fine porcelain, known as eggshell, in Satsuma style, Dai Nippon. The fine decoration is hand painted in gold with relief in its drawings, and represents two women with children in a Japanese cane field.
The mark on the back of the plate is a generic meaning Dai Nippon or "Great Japan". These goods were mass produced for export during the Taisho period (1913-1926) and early Showa (1926-1988).
Measurements: 6 cups 5.5 cm height; 9 cm diameter, dishes 13 cm diameter.
Teapot 18 cm height; 18 cm width.
Churn: 11 cm height; 9 cm width.
Sugar bowl: 13 cm height; 14 cm width.
