Antique Tibet High Aged Used Copper Brass Tibetan Tea Pot with Lid and Spout
Late 19th to early 20th century.
This top quality antique original tibetan tea pot consists of handcrafted copper and brass.
The pot shows a very aesthetic shape with long curved spout with a very fine executed Makara Head.
The end of the spout shows a dragon head.
The handle shows a wonderful and rich decorated dragon figure with a very well executed head. The mouth of the dragon shows tiny turquoise inlay !!!
The upper part of the pot shows floral design, swastika symbol design in openwork technique and Ohm Mantra Symbols.
The round base is covered with one more brass attachment with floral pattern.
The lid shows lotus leaf design and a blossom like knot.
Excellent high age patina, good signs of
original authentic use.
Condition: signs of original use on the bottom, signs of age and longtime use
No damage, very good condition
Height 34.5 cm. Maximum Length from handle to spout 25.5 cm. Diameter of base 12.0 cm.
