Original lithographic poster - Signed in the stone by MIRO, who was chosen to design the original poster for the 1982 World Cup in Spain.
Joan Miró, was born in Barcelona on April 20th, 1893 and died in Palma of Majorca December 25th, 1983. It was is a Spanish painter, sculptor, engraver and ceramist of the surrealist movement.
Joan MIRÓ designed the official poster for Spain, it is the rarest of 15 posters of the series made for this event, where each of the 14 tournament host cities called upon a famous artist.
