A moon-shaped silver scent box with carrying chain. On the front is a heart-shaped shield with an overlaying closure. The lid has a carrying ring.
Marked with the hallmark of the running lion (. 833), the assay office mark is the Minerva head, the date letter I (= 1843) and the master mark 'PH68' Pieter Hooijkaas (who worked as a silversmith in Schoonhoven between 1840 and 1847).
Height 47 mm. Weight 19.96 grams.
Condition: In good condition, with signs of use and wear. Please study the photos well for a good personal impression.
