A Original Imperial Japanese Samurai Family Mon 'Type 19' Company Grade Kyu-Gunto Dress Sword.

This parade sword has no cutting edge, the sword is not designed for fighting.
The scabbard (saya) has a silver patina paint finish that is wearing off by age and time
The blade patina paint itself is also wearing off by age and use
The grip (or tsuka) is made of buffalo horn (there is some damage), covered by a brass wrap and hilt covered with cherry blossom artwork.
The crossguard is a little loose
