Year of production: 9 August 1968.

The car was imported from Switzerland on 22 September 1995. 

Unique item with the steering on the left.

You do not see this very often! 

Especially considering the fact it has a V8, it could also be an interesting investment. 

After all: what can you do with your money in the bank?

Taken into account the original price of 10,156 euros back in 1968, it should increase significantly in value, certainly in great condition. 

This car can become great again with little effort!

Jaguar acquired Daimler in the 60s, purely because of their production capacity. 

Daimler was able to introduce versions of Jaguar models such as the Daimler v8 250.

Luxury version of the Jaguar MK II with the V8 engine of the Daimler SP250, automatic transmission as standard. 

It was more than just a Jaguar with a Daimler grille and a different name plate, but a car in its own right with a luxury interior. 

The model turned out to be the most popular Daimler ever.

The Daimler 142 HP, 2548 cc, V8 engine was more compact and lightweight (50 kg) than the Jaguar XK6 engine that was used in the MK II.

Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection valid until 4 April 2016.

Used daily until the last Dutch periodic vehicle inspection. It was then put away by the previous owner, before the car ended up with me (I am the third owner!) 

The outside of the car was fully restored in 2002. Unfortunately there are some rust spots on one of the doors and on the rear mudguards. Fortunately it’s very limited, very easy to solve. 

Incidentally, such a car in immaculate condition sold for 37,000 euros in 2017.
You will need to spend around 5,000 euros to turn it into a beauty in excellent condition. 

The costs depend also of what is done to the interior.

The weight of the car is 1,520 kg but given its age, its exempt from Dutch road tax.

All in all a beautiful car, it can be turned into a member of the old guard with little effort.

It can be viewed and picked up in Holten, the Netherlands.
