French Comtoise clock with very nice feuille and date "1842"

Movement: 8-day comtoise movement with anchor escapement, striking mechanism for hours and half hours. With beautiful feuille and pristine pendulum. Clock runs fine. Dial: Beautiful enamel dial with Roman numerals and with signature, floral decoration and date reference "1842". The latter is quite exceptional, is only rarely done. Bronze chiselled hands. Accessories: pendulum, weights, and winding key. Measurements: Height 43 cm. Width 28 cm Depth: 15 cm. Total length: 130 cm. Due to its weight, the clock will be shipped in two parcels. This lot will be well packaged and shipped with registered post or it can be picked up in Heeze, the Netherlands.
