Exquisite set made by Johan Haviland, which was founded in Baveria in 1907. He headed the company until 1924 when the company was sold to Richard-Ginard, and then subsequently to Rosenthal.
The set consists of:
1 x coffee pot/teapot 24 cm x 21.5 cm
1 x sugar bowl 10 cm x 10 cm
1 x milk jug 14.5 cm x 8.5 cm
6 x side plates, diameter 19 cm
Edges in shiny gold.
The brand mark that contains the words 'Johann Haviland - Bavaria' has a letter 'R' at the centre, which is from the period of Rosenthal production, between 1950 and 1966.
In excellent condition.
Very minor signs of wear. 2 of the plates are a slightly lighter tone of ivory.
