Antonio Monzino violin - 1920–1930, MILAN - 4/4 - perfect working order

A 4/4 violin of good making and with an excellent sound. Coming from the workshop of Antonio Monzino in 1920–1930. Built or restored by the same in the workshop in Via Rastelli no.10 in Milan. It comes with case and bow. Excellent work, excellent materials. The board is made of fir wood with a medium-thin veining. The back (the rear part) as well as the sides and the headstock are made of flamed maple, the fingerboard is made of ebony. This violin has been completely checked by a luthier. It has a new bridge, a new sound post and new strings. Lute making violin, deep and mature sound. READY TO PLAY. The violin has a label: “ Antonio Monzino - MILANO” Via Rastrelli no. 10. Piano I Inside is another label that reads: “antonius stradivarius faciebat anno 1617” Alcohol varnish of orange-red colour, with a yellow base.
