For sale, an antique 4/4 violin of good making and with an excellent sound.
This is a violin labelled “Jacobus Stainer in Absam prope Oenipontum 1665”.
Violin description:
A spruce wood body;
back, sides and headstock made of maple;
fingerboard made of ebony;
The instrument is in excellent condition, it has some cracks that have been repaired.
Made around 1900.
Alcohol varnish of orange-brown colour, with a yellow base.
The instrument was tested and restored by a luthier, now is ready to play.
Shipping with studio case and a bow.
