Fiat - 128 Moretti Coupe - 1970

Now offered, because of special circumstances: Fiat 128 Moretti Coupe, year of manufacture 1970, with deregistered Swedish admission. Comes with EU export documents so the new owner can easily register the car. A very nice and good car, this Fiat stood in a Swedish museum for some years, and due to closure of the museum the car will now be sold. Four cylinder engine with 1116 cc, 55 hp and a manual four-speed gearbox. Technically this Moretti is based on a Fiat 128, so easy and ‘normal’ in maintenance! A lot of documentation available! See the photos as well. A few years ago the car was completely repainted in the original colour, so it looks fine again! The engine runs fine, gearbox shifts well, carburettor leaks a bit on a gasket. Due to it standing still for years, maintenance is advised. And much more positive things, like the beautiful original paintwork, the engine, gearbox and the electrical functions which all work fine. The car is largely original and certainly not spoiled. Further general information about this very special Fiat: The car was produced by the coachbuilder Moretti in Turin, based on the Fiat 128, using a classic 1100 cc engine. The 128 Moretti coupé performed pretty well (such as the FIAT model from which it originated), the interior space is suitable for four persons and just enough for five. Baggage room was spacious). The car was (partly) built in the factory of Monginevro (these custom cars were not produced in a production line), in a limited edition. The vehicle had a sleek and aggressive design and gave the impression that it had a higher engine capacity than in reality. The seller can deliver the car throughout Europe relatively cheaply! This vehicle is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands.
