Heavy college ring in typical 10 kt / 416 gold. Ring weighs a mighty 20.7 g and is from the San Diego State College in California. The inscription is written around the stone. On one side is an Aztec and on the background is an Aztec calendar, and on the other side a building. On both sides there are palms in the corners. Year numbers are 1965 and 1997. Probably the founding year and the graduating year of the college graduate. The stone is a sapphire-blue transparent stone. Usually a synthetic sapphire or spinel. Light wear on the facets. Hallmarked on the inside with "John Robersts" (manufacturer) and below the maker's mark "JR" and 10K Weight 20.7 g Width on top 19.7 mm, at the bottom 5 mm.
