The Galilean thermometer works according to the buoyancy principle of spherical containers, filled with solutions of different weight density. When immersed in water, the containers tend to reach the surface differently, depending on the temperature they are exposed to. The glass tube, handmade by master glassmakers is sealed at the top. The tube is filled with water and contains floating bubbles with different weight density solutions. Attached to each bubble is a little tag that indicates a temperature (with a difference of 2 degrees). The sphere with the tag matching the measured temperature will migrate towards the upper part of the tube. This thermometer is a fine object suitable for interior decor and also very precise.
