At the request of Maurice DUCHIN, emeritus art collector and minister in the Spanish government, Dalí created in 1954 six ceramics celebrating his love for his Catalan country and illustrating the beauty of the landscapes and of the Spanish soul through six major decors and essential themes of life. The ‘Les guitares’ tile is broken in the corner. (It is not glued). There are three pictures of the broken angle.
