Douglas Chalk - Desk / wall clock 'Clever Clocks'
This 'Clever Clocks' clock is a Douglas Chalk design and handmade. The company that started in London and nowadays makes the CleverClocks has been established in America since 1990 and is still led by Douglas. In 1984 he sold the first clocks made by him at an art market in London. This is a 1987 model and - as far as I know - only a small number have been produced in this version.
The movement is exactly the same and works on an AA standard battery.
Material consists of cardboard (hands and dial) and plastic (housing and back cover). The sizes are 15 cm (hxw) and 6 cm deep. On the inside the sides are reflective which gives a nice effect. Can be put on the table / desk or hung on the wall. There are some minor signs of wear.
On offer: this intriguing clock because I can not see what time it is; =).
