This lovely Singer 15k88 Centennial handcrank sewing machine from November 6, 1950. The sewing machine was manf in 1950 , but sold in 1951. That is why it had the Centennial badge with "A Century of sewing machines 1851-1951 ". This Singer 15k88 has been a treadle sewing machine at one point. And has been put in a new type base with extension table and acquired a universal handcrank at one point. The Singer 15k88 has been cleaned, oiled and tested. It does a lovely stitch. And runs very smooth. You can drop the feeddogs of this lovely handcrank machine for freemotion quilting or sewing. It runs through several layers of denim and leather too. The decals are in decent conditions regarding age. The Singer light works. This Singer 15k88 comes in a leatherskin case that can be closed. It comes with several accessories ; a ruffler, underbraider, adjustable hemmer, hemmerfoot original small screwdriver, spare needles, bobbin case and 5 class 15 bobbins.
