A green and turquoise faience openwork amulet of the Eye of Horus within a square frame. The amulet is finely carved on both sides with the eyebrow and pupil highlighted with a darker colour. Weight 5.7g.

The Eye of Horus, also called wedjet, is one of the most distinctive Egyptian symbols. It represented the physical eye of the Egyptian falcon god Horus and was a symbol of protection, royal power and good health.
