Awarded to infantrymen for breaking through enemy lines

Type: Award (More lots)
Country of Origin: Germany
Condition: Good
Period: 20th - mid (WW II)

Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, in good condition, with some patina due to old age, with maker’s mark 'JFS' for Josef Feix & Söhne. This is the solid version, made of non-magnetic metal (zinc?).

The Storm Insignia of the Infantry (German: Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen) was a German military award. The insignia was established on 20 December 1939, by the Commander of the German army, General Walther von Brauchitsch. In order to obtain this badge, you had to be an infantryman with a weapon in hand during three attacks after January 1940, and had spent three different days at the front line, and have been involved in battles that made you break though enemy lines.

The objects comprising this lot are meant exclusively for collectors of military-historical objects. The owner of this website does not have any political and/or other motives than providing a platform that allows third parties to buy or sell auction lots, and assumes no responsibility for their contents.

  • The guitar is in GREAT conditions, I won't be able to distinguish it from a new one. Everything came inside the original bags and the case has not even a scratch. I can't be more satisfied.
