Nice condition, complete and with the old batteries 2 x 67.5 volts and 2 x 1.5 volt in nice condition, but empty. This Philips portable radio type LX434AB is a sought-after portable and was built in 1953. It has a beautiful bakelite casing with brown/red colour with a specially designed front with integrated station dial. The special thing about this portable device is that it is suitable for outdoors by means of the built-in batteries (2x 1.5 V voltage and 2x anode battery 67.5 V), but also for indoors with the built-in power supply. All original Witte Kat batteries are in good condition, but are empty! The radio unit has 3 bands, being LW, MW and SW and has 3 different built-in antennas and the possibility for connecting an external antenna. This radio has 5 tubes: DF91, DK92, DF91, DAF91 and DL94. Radio turns on but does not play. The device is set to 220 V - 50 Hz, but is also suitable for 110 and 125 V - 50 Hz. The station name scale is in good condition and the station names are intact and clearly readable. A downside is a small tear which does not stand out, see photos. Photos are part of the deal. The radio will be shipped by insured mail, picking it up is also not a problem. The dimensions 260x245x135 mm The weight including batteries is more than 5 kg. The radio is a nice asset for any collector!
