Original German WWI military sniper scope for GW98.
Very rare scope! Not typical for 100 or more years rifle scope. Dr. Walter Gerard produced rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting rifles. With the onset of the war, Gerard scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adopted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 and K98 Sniping Rifles. Overall very good to excellent, as pictured. Original finish, optics are clear and bright, technically perfect.
