ALFA ROMEO ALFETTA 1800 SCUDO LARGO 116.42 (one of the first of the Scudo Largo series) . Valid inspection: yes (until May 2020) . Registration: ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano); . Underbody condition: intact. . km 127500 First registration 04/1976 (sole owner until 02/1988), second registration 02/1988 (license plate CTXXXXXX) for change of province (as per the law then in force with the sole owner until 09/2018). Documents ready for the transfer of ownership, available to store the vehicle for up to 30 days to allow you to organize the transport after the sale. Exterior colour Pine Green AR216 (normal signs of fading due to age), interior in City Grey shaved fabric like new, without tears or cracks, always protected by specific linings. Door panels like new. ASI registered with certificate of historical and collector’s significance. Regularly overhauled (next revision 2020), insured and guaranteed. Engine 1.8 (1779 cc) 87 KW/118 HP. Vehicle preserved and never restored, very solid chassis, body and engine, perfect upholstery, panels and dashboard that does not have cracks, cuts or other defects but is intact in all its parts. Externally there are a couple of superficial scratches of a few inches. From a historical point of view, it was the first mass-produced car with a Transaxle scheme (clutch, gearbox and differential as a whole), equipped with the refined “De Dion” bridge in the rear suspensions (until then only on racing cars) and with elastic elements of the torsion bar in the front suspensions instead of springs, all of which resulted in greater road holding than all the other sedans of the 70s.
