Absolutely unique desert glass. Large piece AAA quality. Mostly transparent when held against light. With typical surface on one side (smoothly sanded by sand and wind). A part somewhat rougher as it was lying in the sand. Very nice green/yellow colour. With some remnants of sand at the bottom. In perfect condition (no chips).

The pictures were taken in daylight (sun). The 1 cm cube is for size comparison only and not included in this auction.

Provenance: Great Sandsea (western Libyan desert, Egypt). Purchased in June 2018 from Alain Carion (a very well-known meteorite dealer from Paris) at a meteorite fair in Ensisheim, France.

Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. I am a member of the IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association), member No. 8629.
